Political Action Committee

SBEPAC Description:

Founded in 1978, the SBE PAC was created by the Sacramento Builders’ Exchange Board of Directors to increase the effectiveness of our political advocacy on behalf of the our membership.

SBE PAC is an independent political action committee registered with the California Secretary of State, sponsored by the Sacramento Builders’ Exchange and governed by our 16 member board of directors. The SBE PAC board guides the Governmental Affairs Committee strategic objectives, helps raise funds for the SBE PAC, conducts candidate interviews before each election cycle and authorizes campaign contributions to support local and state legislative candidates throughout the region.

SBE PAC is authorized to endorse and financially support candidates for local and state legislative office as well as public initiatives. Since SBE PAC is not a federal PAC, SBE PAC does not make endorsements in congressional races.
