The Sacramento Regional Builders’ Exchange is one of the oldest and largest trade associations in the West, having been founded in 1901 to advance the industry’s interests.
That is still its objective today, says Joshua Wood, the organization’s executive director.
“Our approximately 3,000 members include general contractors, architects, engineers, suppliers, all the people involved in the process,” Wood said. “These are the people who built our city, commercial contractors and other professionals who built schools, shopping centers, office buildings, some infrastructure as well.
